Scarborough Lifts Ltd is an independent lift company, keen to recruit talented individuals to work as lift engineers in all parts of the company which includes:

• Repair and maintenance,
• Service and callout
• New lift installations
• Stair-lifts and
• Wheelchair lifts

If you are already an engineer or technician within the lift industry and you want a fresh challenge, then we would like to hear from you.

Experienced applicants must have the necessary qualifications plus a broad-based knowledge of lift makes and types. During interview, you will be expected to demonstrate a professional approach to work befitting a representative of Scarborough Lifts Ltd, You will also be expected to be presentable, self motivated, confident and conscientious in the field, as you will be working largely on your own. A full driving licence is also essential.

Likewise, if you are a college leaver, and seeking an apprenticeship in lift engineering we would also like to hear from you.

Although experience is not necessary for this apprenticeship, we will require applicants to show a genuine aptitude and interest for engineering, as well as being self motivated, presentable, confident and conscientious. A full driving licence is not essential but desirable at this stage, as successful applicants will attend callouts.
Full training will be given including working towards NVQ qualifications.
